Appointed:
District Judge Thompson was sworn into office on 12 June 2026. She was called to the Bar in 2005 and joined the Office of Attorney General for Northern Ireland in 2010 and then the Office of the Legislative Counsel in 2017. She was appointed as a President of the Review Tribunal in 2019 and a legal member in the Victims’ Payments Board in 2021. She was sworn in as Deputy Statutory Officer on 15 September 2023.
