A Pilot will commence in Laganside Family Proceedings Court (FPC) on 6 May 2026 for an initial period of 12 months subject to review.
The Early Resolution Forum is a new way of helping families. The aim of the Pilot is to improve outcomes for children by reducing delay, encouraging early agreement, and narrowing issues at the earliest stage through focused judicial case management.

The first Early Resolution Forum date in the Family Proceedings Court is Wednesday 6 May 2026 (papers to be lodged no later than Wednesday 22 April 2026).
