A Pilot will commence in Laganside Family Proceedings Court (FPC) on 6 May 2026 for an initial period of 12 months subject to review.
The Early Resolution Forum is a new way of helping families. The aim of the Pilot is to improve outcomes for children by reducing delay, encouraging early agreement, and narrowing issues at the earliest stage through focused judicial case management.
Listing Dates
The 2026 listing dates for the Early Resolution Forum in the Family Proceedings Court are below (including deadlines for papers to be lodged):
- 3 June (papers lodged no later than 20 May)
- 1 July (papers lodged no later than 17 June)
- 5 August (papers lodged no later than 22 July)
- 9 September (papers lodged no later than 26 August)
- 7 October (papers lodged no later than 23 September)
- 4 November (papers lodged no later than 21 October)
- 2 December (papers lodged no later than 18 November)
