Dame Siobhan Keegan, Lady Chief Justice, has paid tribute to Lady Gillian Kerr, widow of Brian Kerr, Baron Kerr of Tonaghmore and former Lord Chief Justice of Northern Ireland, who died on 25 July 2022:
"I am very saddened to hear of the death of Gillian Kerr. She was a valued friend of the Bench past and present who will be sorely missed. Many colleagues also remember her from her time as a tutor in the Law Faculty at Queen’s. I would like to extend the condolences of the Judiciary to her sons John and Patrick, their wives and children and the wider family circle".
