These guidelines continue to provide information and outline best practice to make access to the courts less formal and the experience for children, a more positive one. The guidelines remain compliant with ECHR fair trial provisions and reassure all that the needs of children within the Youth Justice system are regularly reviewed and maintained. This updated version takes into account positive changes which have been introduced since the last review.
