Judge RoseAnne McCormick KC was sworn into office on 5th September 2018. She practised at the Bar of Northern Ireland from 1989 and took Silk in 2014. While she was a junior counsel, she was an active Board member of three charities; she was also a member of the Police Authority of Northern Ireland 1991 – 1997 and of the Parades Commission 1998 – 2000. She has been an External Examiner for the Institute of Professional Legal Studies since 2019 and she is a Welfare Judge for the County Court Bench.
